Copepods, tiny crustaceans, are the most abundant animals in the ocean (and arguably on Earth). The talk will highlight the crucial role copepods play in the ocean’s ecology and biogeochemistry; and how they serve as models of evolution in real time to infer the response of the biota to climate change and other global stressors.
